The right to use the hallmark “Brand Quality from German regions” is revised annually by neutral inspectors. The “Seal of Quality” is an up-to-date certification for outstanding first-class product compositions and represents a symbol of high quality standard of the awarded products.

In 2008, Astro was once again awarded, by DLG food testing centre, for the high quality of their products. The DLG awards are given to products of highest quality and significant taste value. In the international DLG quality inspection for 2008, Astro received 10 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals for their ham and sausage products.
